Boho Chic stone sculpted necklace with teal sea glass
The dark teal Aegean sea glass is nested in a stone common to North Carolina - perhaps somewhat symbolizing the union of my new and previous residences. The 1.5" pendant shape appears to have the consistency of caramel embracing a tear drop of glass. Its sterling chain is 17" before crossing to attach to the pendant. When relocating back to the states, I brought with me a stash of select sea glass for the purpose of making some hybrid Greece/North Carolina pieces. This one is a slight departure from my Greek creations - it's more focused on the sculpting of rock with the sea glass as an adornment rather than as the foundation. I am quite pleased with this path as it turns out that Carolina was renowned for its gem mines.
